Live in Care
Live-in care , as the name suggests is when a professional carer lives in their client’s home to enable their needs to be met. This means they’re available to help throughout the day and at night, if necessary-although they are obviously entitled to breaks by law.
Sometimes, it may be the case that you or your loved one has been receiving the domicilary care but visits throughout the day are no longer sufficient to meet their needs, and more care is required. Or maybe a person has tried residential care but finds it difficult to settle in a place surrounded by so many other people and is much happied in their own home.
Live-in care is an increasingly popular alternative to moving into a care home. Many people choose live-in care so that they can retain their independence and live exactly how they wish in the comfort of their own home.
